"Value" sheet.
Updated 11 Jan 2002

This document discusses how to use the "Value" Sheet.

You can use Tab and Shift-Tab on the keyboard to move, respectively,
forward and backward through highlighted cells where data can be
entered. There is only a single such cell on this sheet. That is
the "Comparable Bond Rate" (at the end of the "Risk" section).

There is a row of check boxes for each year (corresponding to High PE
and Low PE for that year). Checking one or more of these boxes causes
the corresponding value(s) to be considered "outlier(s)" and to be
omitted from the appropriate calculations.

The PE chart displays the following information:
-- Hi PE (thin dark blue line with triangle data markers)
-- Avg. PE (thick green line with diamond data markers)
-- Lo PE (thin light blue line with diamond data markers)
-- Avg. Hi PE (thin solid red horizontal line)
-- Avg. Lo PE (thin solid red horizontal line)
-- Signature PE (thin solid red horizontal line)
-- Forecast Hi PE (thin dotted red horizontal line)
-- Forecast Lo PE (thin dotted red horizontal line)

The vertical scale on the chart will adjust automatically to accomodate
the data being displayed. Positioning the mouse pointer (without
clicking) on any of the lines or points on the various charts will,
after a short delay, display additional information about that item.
